Bye bye Brisbane and many Taiwanese

Hi, after 7 days in Brisbane, it becomes pretty boring. So let's go to Surfers Paradise. On my second day here, I had two Taiwanese roommates. And it's their first day here in Australia. Wow! rookies.

(Left Jocelyn, right Eunice) Jocelyn lives in the same county of Taiwan as me, Eunice has the same family name as me. Wow, the world is so small.

(Well, eunice? unix?)

Through the two girls, I met many many Taiwanese. I spent two or three days wondering around with them. China town, sightseeing, Chinese church English class, etc..

(right Edward)

Haha, what were you doing? You don't look like a lesbian.

A ferris wheel.

There is a lagoon(artificial beach) near to the city center. Pretty good. But I don't miss it 'cause I'm going to the real ones.

Before Brisbane, I'd not met so many Taiwanese, especially boys. The boys will buy a car, hmm...good idea.

A special spray painting.

Do you know where it is? It's the start of the Queen Street Mall and it's in front of a casino!

And they really got into it, gamble.

Well, I have to say they were brave, courageous, and stupid. They lost hundreds of AUD there. Just cry...you idiots.

Thanks you all. Bye Bye. Wish you get a good job and enjoy Oz life.

Now let's go to Surfers Paradise.

What I feel about Brisbane

Well, there are a lot of Koreans in this city. By default they think me also a Korean guy. I've heard that there are more Koreans in Gold Coast. My god!

I met two Taiwanese girls on their first here in Australia. Via them, I met many many Taiwanese backpackers. Some of them are newcomers. It's funny to watch them to activate prepaid mobile, open bank account, and apply for TFN. Funny.

All of them are worrying about getting a job. Pity. I can't help them 'cause I usually get one by luck. I contacted Cathy who is still in Aussie(many friends are home now) to get job info. Thank you, Cathy.

I went to an English class hold by a Chinese church. Not bad. However, all of the students and teachers are Asians. That's not good.

Woo, after 5 days, Brisbane becomes pretty boring now. Let's go to Surfers Paradise!

In Brisbane

I'm in Brisbane, this is the second day here.

On the street again I saw two Italian girls I met in Cairns. Wow...but they disappeared before I had a chance to say hello. Faint.

In the hotel's room, at noon came two Taiwanese girls. This is their first day in Australia! Wow, wow, wow...

I'll go to Surfers Paradise after 5 days. I'm going to take some sunshine(sun burn?), run on the beaches, see a lot of bums! and enjoy the sound of waves. I can't wait.

See you guys.

Time to leave Bundaberg

Well, it's pretty bad in Bundaberg. I shouldn't complain but I couldn't help. Whatever...

I will leave Bundaberg tomorrow. Travel southward to Noosa(sunshine coast), Brisbane, Gold coast, Byron bay, New Castle(hunter valley), then Sydney->home.

Pity that I couldn't earn back all expense spent in Oz. Sigh...Plan is supposed to be broken.

I met some backpackers here. (As you may not know, I lost my camera. So I stole these photos from their Facebook.)

Mai Kai from HongKong

Poor girl, hadn't made much money here. In Cairns or Ululu. Hope you get a good job there.

Drake from HongKong

He will go home to celebrate graduation from school on November. Enjoy it.

Suki from HongKong

Well, not a backpacker but a student who couldn't work legally. Shout me some beers, thanks. Back in HK now.

Eva from HongKong

Couldn't get a good job here so back to Sydney. Smart!

Wakana(left) and Noriko(second from right) from Japan

I don't know other girls' names. :P

Wakana(right) and Noriko(left)

Beer garden, jobs aren't good, spending too much here doesn't help.

Nirvana Kam from HongKong

Well, nirvana, this name is rather interesting.

Nora from Taiwan, who learned to make bread in her previous farm in Ayr.

Nirvana and Nora travel together. But facing a serious problem now(one is rich, the other is poor), Nora wants to leave and travel to Fraser Island.

GoodBye, Bundaberg; goodbye Bundaberg rum; goodbye Nora and Nirvana.

Oh, I forgot to mention a surprise that I met again Marion and Matthew in a supermarket of Bundaberg. What a coincidence.

At that time, they bought a van and with another mate through east coast.

This is their van. Wow, amazing and superb.

The other side of the van, quite different and contrary.

Interviewed by channel 7

I'm in the library of Bundaberg now. Half an hour ago on my way back to the hostel, I saw a cameraman and a reporter of Channel 7. Then they came forward to ask me question about theft in Australia. Wow, very nervous. I answered that I heard many stealing stories but have never experienced any. (Actually, I lost my digital camera, but I consider that's my fault.) Then I said, it's a bit dangerous in a hostel in a big city, but in a working hostel, everybody comes for working, absolutely not for stealing.

Haha, maybe I will be on TV. Wow.

By the way, I had worked in a zucchini farm for four days. Today I did my best to be as fast as possible. But still I was slower than others. So I fired myself. I quit. However, there are frigging many people on the stand-by list now, so I think the next job won't come soon.

My airplane to Taiwan is on 17 November. Although I wanna earn back all expense spent in Aussie, but I'm missing Taiwanese food so much now. So I won't change the date back home. See ya, my friends in Taiwan.
